Everybody just plays tetris anyway

February 29th, 2008

Does anyone think THIS is really a good idea? I mean, I appreciate how cell phones have become more capable, but it seems a little ridiculous to me.  A little game like snake perhaps, (I swear I have the highest score on that game) or maybe snake 2, but Bioshock?  Does it not loose… absolutely EVERYTHING in the translation?  It’s like that guy who was reading a great spanish novel about some guy named “Manual”, which turns out were the instructions for his toaster.  Seems like it might loose a tad.

And while I’m on it, I also don’t understand the integration of TV into cell phones.  Or watching a movie on your ipod.  I’m sure that’s exactly what the director intended, for you to be watching his grand epic on a 2″ screen on the subway.  Of course with a movie like Cloverfield, that might actually help out the movie, you could pretend that the facehuggers are actually coming for you, down the subway tunnel!  Man did that movie ever stink.  Here’s hoping the next Star Trek movie isn’t just teaser shots of the port nacelle of the NC-1701 for 60 minutes.

Heck, I have Spyro and Crash Bandicoot on my phone and I think I’ve only played each of them twice in the two years since I downloaded them, they’re so hard to control (and they look terrible)… if I don’t have my DS, it’s true - I just play Tetris anyway.

wow crash is on cell phones O_o awesome! (Seriously)
Is it like the original crash for the PS?

And about games on cell phones. All I have to say is Nokia N-Gage. And how it failed ^_^.

I mean even FF: Before Crisis (A cell phone game that was in japan) is being released on the PSP, (Damn now I need a PSP) and that’s the way it should be.
