I see a lot of movies, because I enjoy them.  Movies are a tasty morsel of escapism that I relish. I don’t expect much, I watch alot of utter garbage (cough… will ferrel movies… cough) because it’s entertaining.  What really ruins it for me is when an uninspired script is read by a bored cast.  The special effects can only go so far, as SO many movies have proven to us in the past.  Jumper is just such an example.
I didn’t like Hayden Christensen when he was Vader (I actually laughed when he screamed NOOOO at the end of episode 3.  It was comedy gold) and his acting skills have not improved. He got to hide in Star Wars because it’s pretty easy to conceal crappy acting behind a lightsaber and some swishing sounds.  Not so in this case, as all he had to cover up his ineptness was teleportation.  And as everyone can tell you, if you teleport as a horrible actor, you come out the same way.  Just ask Wil Wheaton. (I kid, I kid.)

Backing him up is a raccoon from the OC and the master of terrible roles, Samuel L Jackson.  This is a man that has gone from the definition of cool, to someone that kind of makes you cringe when you hear he’s in another movie.  Let us all join together in our hopes that he will not screw up Nick Fury.

Oh yea, and I’m going to Friday updates until enough people tell me they enjoy it, then I’ll move to twice a week.
